H Arena

The H Arena is not much of a stadium in the traditional sense. The wood floor is the thing that defines the place. It is a fixed beech parquet surface, laid down in 2018, and it does not need to be rolled out or moved for different events.

The structure opened in 1973 as the Palais des sports de Beaulieu, a name it carried until March 2019 when management shifted to the HBC Nantes club. The capacity sits at 5,500 seats for sporting events, such as when HBC Nantes took on Paris Saint-Germain.

Games have not been the only things to happen here. Tony Yoka fought here, first against Michael Wallisch in 2019 and then Joel Tambwe Djeko in 2021. More recently, the EHF Champions League Final 4 public viewing brought people into the space in 2025. The women's team, Nantes Loire Atlantique Handball, also plays here alongside the men's side.
