Hala MOSRiR przy ul. Twardowskiego

Hala MOSiR was erected in 1985 as a functional block for the city of Szczecin, a "GDR-type" hall. Located at ul. Kazimierza Twardowskiego 12B, the structure sits quietly away from the larger Arena Szczecin. The wooden parquet floor remains the defining feature.
What makes this venue distinct is its dual identity. For handball, the permanent stands hold 730 spectators. When basketball games are scheduled, the capacity swells to 1,000 through the installation of temporary seating behind the baskets. This shift in configuration is a routine part of the hall's life, managed by the Miejski Ośrodek Sportu, Rekreacji i Rehabilitacji (MOSRiR). The facility has seen modernisation in recent years, with updated lighting and sound systems replacing older equipment.
It is a working hall. A pneumatic dome is installed seasonally on the outdoor training fields nearby, but that belongs to the complex, not the hall.
