There is a distinct difference between a stadium built for the roar of a crowd and a hall built for the squeak of soles on wood. Hala Sportowa MOKSiR in Chrzanów is not a monument. It is a functional box at ul. Janusza Kusocińskiego 2. The facility sits under the jurisdiction of the Miejskie Centrum Sportu.

Inside, the floor is a Junckers Sport parquet, laid down in 2018. The capacity is 589, a number that fits the room precisely. When MTS Chrzanów, the local handball side, plays here, the stands feel closer than they might on television. They are not a cathedral; they are a workshop for sport.

The hall has seen its share of tension. On May 23, 2015, a relegation playoff match against ASPR Zawadzkie took place. The scoreline was 31:23. That is the rare atmosphere for this venue. The building closed for modernization from August to November 2020.
