There is nothing round about the Stegu Arena . It is a multi-purpose hall rather than a football stadium, and the capacity is 3,500 seats.
The arena was originally opened on July 20, 1968. The team, Gwardia Opole, moved into the renovated facility for the 2017/2018 season after the work was finished. The building is located at ul. Oleska 72, and it stands as the primary indoor sports venue for the city.
Stegu Arena is also formally referred to as Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa . The sponsorship agreement with Stegu sp. z o.o. The venue serves as the home ground for the men's handball club, which competes in the Polish Superliga. The hall has hosted notable events, including matches by the club Mostostal-Azoty Kędzierzyn-Koźle during the 2000-2003 period, such as Champions League fixtures, although the venue itself was not named Azoty Arena at that time.
