The sports hall in Koszalin does not announce itself. It sits quietly at the end of ul. Śniadeckich, tucked between the university campus and the river. What happens inside is more public than the building suggests.

Strong building trades laid the foundation, and the hall opened its doors in the summer of 2012. It has not changed its name since, and it has not needed to. The wooden parquet floor is a demanding surface for any sport played on it.

It is the women's handball team that has made the most of the space. The men's side shares the court, and the football clubs stay well clear of the indoor dust.

There is no grand entrance or sweeping plaza. That is how it should be found. The capacity figures, whether fixed or standing, are not the primary reason to visit. It is the teams that carried the side through difficult seasons that give the place its purpose.
