Honeycroft
West Drayton (Yiewsley), United Kingdom
The ground is defined by its red stand, which sits low against a backdrop of tall, thin trees. The grass is not natural; it is a synthetic pitch, smooth and uniform, that replaced the original turf after a major redevelopment.
The club moved here in 1978, taking over a former sports and social club rather than building from scratch. They fitted it with floodlights and seats, and it has held the name Honeycroft ever since, a reminder of the house that stood on their original 1948 site. That previous ground now belongs to Brunel University.
The surface is the most visible change from recent years. In October 2023, the club installed LigaTurf Next, becoming the first stadium in the UK to do so. The work included new floodlights and a rebuilt 158-seater stand on the far side. This upgrade was part of a strategy to climb the Non-League Pyramid, a plan that saw the team promoted to the Southern League Premier Division South in the 2023/24 season.
Visitors to the match will see the club’s history written in the simple lines of the stadium. Today, the capacity sits at 3,770, though the seated portion is much smaller. The grounds remain a working space for the community, used by visiting teams like Langley and Hayes & Hillingdon in recent seasons.
