The building at Lagermansgatan 4 has stood since November 1939, when a handball match between GoIF Fram and IFK Kristianstad kicked off its life. For decades it was a single hall with a wooden floor. In the summer of 2017 the original A-hall was torn down. Two years later, on January 2, 2020, a new building opened in its place, though the cost and the architect of that rebuild are not recorded in the public sources.

The main arena seats 1,500 people for matches. When concerts fill the floor, the capacity stretches to 2,500, though some older records from a 2012 renovation still cite 1,650 fixed seats.

It is a working house for sport. Jönköpings IK and Jönköping City IBK use it for floorball. IF Hallby HK and IK Cyrus T/S bring their handball here. KFUM Jönköping plays volleyball. Historically GoIF Fram called it home. The venue has hosted rounds of the Svenska Cupen for both handball and floorball. In 2016 it held a futsal match between Sweden and Finland with 1,094 in the stands. That was the first national team futsal game played in the city.

It is a hall with a history of demolition and rebuilding. The wooden floor gives it a sound and a feel that concrete cannot copy, and the capacity for concerts reminds you that it is not only for sport.
