Kamil Ocak Spor Salonu

The original hall, which opened in 1969, was demolished in 2020 to clear space for the Gaziantep Millet Bahçesi. The current structure, rising in the İncilipınar neighbourhood of Şehitkamil, is a replacement born from that necessity rather than mere expansion. It stands at Sabahat Göğüş Cad. No:15, a precise coordinate for a venue that serves the city’s basketball ambitions.

Capacity here is 3,800, a figure slightly higher than the 2,500 seats in the building that once stood nearby. The floor is wooden parquet, laid to FIBA standards for international play, accommodating basketball, volleyball, and handball alike. The hall hosted the 2026 Volleyball Men's Youth Turkish Championship Finals.

Opening comes on December 25, 2025, timed to coincide with the 104th anniversary of the liberation of Gaziantep and the ceremony for the 4th Gazi Games. The funding is municipal. There is no elaborate history of name changes to untangle; the new building retains the identity of the one it replaced, honouring Kamil Ocak, the former Minister of Youth and Sports who hailed from these parts.
