Lambeau Field
Green Bay, United States
Formerly: City Stadium
Lambeau Field in Green Bay is built from brick and glass rather than steel and concrete. A single Molson Coors light sits on the glass facade.
The ground has a hybrid surface of Kentucky bluegrass and synthetic fibres, installed in 2007. The capacity is 81,441 after the South End Zone expansion finished in 2013. The stadium opened on September 29, 1957, originally as City Stadium before being renamed in 1965.
The decision to keep the name without a corporate sponsor has never changed. The attendance record of 79,704 was set during the 2014 NFC Divisional Playoff against the Dallas Cowboys on January 11, 2015.
Some outside events have taken place here. Paul McCartney played a concert in 2019 and Billy Joel followed in 2017. The 2025 NFL Draft was held in the atrium, and the first soccer match took place in 2022 between FC Bayern Munich and Manchester City. The stadium has never hosted a Super Bowl.
