The stadium in Obuasi. The capacity is 20,000, a figure settled after a renovation in 2005 that added modern turnstiles and executive boxes to the older stands.

Ashanti Gold Sporting Club, the Porcupines, call this place home. They play in the Ghana Premier League, and the ground has hosted matches for the national team too. During the 2024–2025 season, Asante Kotoko used the stadium as a temporary home because their own venue was being worked on.

The stadium was opened in 1990 by the former President of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings. It is named after Len Clay, a former manager for the Ashanti Goldfield Company. The address is Stadium Road, Obuasi. There is no separate website for the stadium; the club runs its own site, fcashantigold.com.

A serious incident happened in October 2020 when thieves stole floodlight cables and lighting equipment worth about $172,000. There is also a record for attendance, set in 1997 during a CAF Champions League final against Raja CA. The crowd reached 20,000 that day.
