Stadium
Ljungby Arena
Ljungby, Sweden
Formerly: Sunnerbohov
The Ljungby Arena sits in the Brunnsgården area. It began life in 1981 as Sunnerbohov, a local ice rink for the community before the current structure took shape around it.
The arena itself opened later. Inside, the surface is artificial ice.
The building is designed for more than just sport. The fans who come here know the atmosphere is not about glamour but about the game. The arena remains a central point in Ljungby, hosting events that range from local hockey fixtures to larger international games, such as the recent match between Sweden and Switzerland.
