The ground at Clee Road is the only football venue in the Cleethorpes area. The club returned here in June 2018, securing a grant from the Premier League Football Stadia Improvement Fund to complete the work. That redevelopment brought new spectator stands and proper floodlights.

What strikes you immediately is the John Smith's Stand, a structure that looks older than the rest of the complex, with its wooden roof trusses and red seating. It sits opposite the covered terrace, creating an enclosed feel even on a grey afternoon. The pitch itself is natural grass, and it shows the wear of regular use; the corner flags are set into the ground, and the perimeter is marked with simple advertising boards rather than digital displays. A blue sign near the sideline reads "PLEASE KEEP OFF GRASS," a reminder of the care that goes into keeping this surface playable for the local community.

The atmosphere here is not loud, but it is focused. The club, nicknamed The Owls, played at the Bradley Football Development Centre for five years before moving back. That return coincided with their run to the 2017 FA Vase Final, a fact that still carries weight in the town. The ground hosts high-profile FA Cup qualifying matches and has seen pre-season friendlies against Grimsby Town that have drawn significant crowds, though the official competitive record stands at 1,341, set on Boxing Day 2022 against Grimsby Borough.

There is a sense of continuity in the naming as well. It was once the Linden Club, then the Linden Homes Club, before it became the MyEnergi Stadium following a deal with the local eco-tech company. That name change in 2022 did not alter the physical space, only the sign above the entrance. The capacity is discussed in local terms: some sources say 2,000, others 1,000, but in practice, the crowd fills the space comfortably without feeling stretched. The stands are never empty, and the players are always visible, not hidden behind a vast distance.
