Nuovo Palazzetto dello sport

The Nuovo Palazzetto dello Sport in Fasano is not a cathedral of football. It opened in 2023 to replace school gyms for the local handball club, Junior Fasano.
Inside, the floor is covered in synthetic sports flooring suitable for handball and volleyball, laid over permanent parquet for basketball. This flexibility allows the club to host the Italian Women’s Futsal Cup and the BigMat National Finals U18F for volleyball. The arena is also preparing to host the handball tournaments for the Mediterranean Games in 2026.
The crowd does not spill out onto the streets in the same way as at a football match. The seating capacity is 2,200, but it fills up for the qualifiers.
There is a difference between this venue and the old municipal facilities.
