Oppsal Arena
Oslo, Norway
Formerly: Trasopphallen
Oppsal Arena sits in the Oppsal district of Oslo. It began life as Trasopphallen in 1969.
The interior is dominated by four handball courts, with room for up to two thousand seated spectators. The arena also hosted international fixtures, including the Møbelringen Cup in 2008. While the seated limit is strict, the approved total capacity stretches higher for events that do not require extensive spectator seating.
Oppsal IF Håndball calls this hall home, managing the facility and ensuring the doors remain open for training and matches alike. Just outside, the football section plays on the adjacent artificial turf, a separate entity from the indoor arena but part of the same sporting complex.
