Pala Cardella

The venue is known locally as Pala Cardella , though it carries the heavier name Palazzetto dello Sport "Pino Cardella". The building has a simple frontage that does not advertise the events inside. The hall is not a showcase for the city but a working room for its players. Things came to a head during the recent Supercup final, when the home side defeated Jomi Salerno by a single goal in front of the small, familiar crowd. The players discovered the surface at half-time, adjusting their footing on the parquet. The final series against the same opposition followed, and the result was decided by a few points.
