Partille Arena
Partille, Sweden
Partille Arena sits on Gamla Kronvägen. Skanska built the structure in 2016 to replace the old Partillebohallen, which had stood since 1967. The municipality operates the venue, and it serves as the home for IK Sävehof, the local handball club.
Inside, the floor accommodates both handball and basketball matches, and the space expands for concerts. The capacity for sport is 4,000, but the arrangement shifts for music events to accommodate 5,500. The highest crowd to date came for a concert rather than a match, when Helloween and HammerFall played in September 2023. That attendance figure, 5,604, exceeded the previous mark set by Bryan Adams.
The arena has kept its name since opening, avoiding the sponsor changes that often accompany new builds.
