Reichenfeldhalle

The Reichenfeldhalle sits at Schillerstraße 11a in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg. It is not a cathedral of sport, but a working hall. The city uses it for handball, badminton and school events.
HC BW Feldkirch plays here. The women’s team competes in the WHA Meisterliga. The men play in regional leagues. On school days, the floor becomes a field for Mattenhandball.
The opening year is not found. No major renovations are documented. The city press release simply notes the successful completion of a renovation of the sports hall floor due to wear.
The capacity is 500. Yet in 1997, a World Cup qualification match between Switzerland and Austria drew 675 spectators. The hall became a rare showcase for international handball in the region. It also held the 1st Vorarlberg Juggling Convention in 2014.
The annual "2to4-Handball-Benefizevent" raises money for social projects. Over €56,000 has been collected for charity. The hall does not host concerts.
The surface for the handball court is unclear. It is an indoor hall.
