Reynolds Field
Perivale, United Kingdom
Formerly: The Powerday Stadium, Oliver Connell & Son Community Stadium
The Bob Fisher Stand stands out as the ground’s defining feature, built by local volunteers for a chairman who gave sixty years to the club. It sits on a pitch of natural grass maintained by a mobile phone-operated irrigation system. The venue has shifted identities twice; it was The Powerday Stadium before becoming the Oliver Connell & Son Community Stadium, yet locals still call it Reynolds Field.
The ground opened its doors in 1981, succeeding the Ealing Central Sports Ground, and added floodlights in 1989 to host night matches. Disabled facilities arrived after the lights, and new changing rooms were finally ready for the 2019–20 season, while a video scoreboard appeared somewhere between 2012 and 2017.
Hanwell Town F.C., founded in 1920, has used the place as its home. They have reached the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup on three occasions in recent years, losing each time to higher-ranked opposition. In 2013–14, the team pushed further in the FA Trophy and FA Vase.
