Rødovre Centrum Arena

Rødovre Centrum Arena sits in the shadow of a shopping centre. Since October 2018 the venue has carried the title of Rødovre Centrum Arena, following a sponsorship agreement with the adjacent retail complex. Before that it was Rødovre Skøjte Arena, and on January 1, 2024, it became Holger Danske Arena. The building opened on February 6, 1995, replacing a previous facility that had operated since 1961.

It holds 3,600 spectators, with 2,012 seated and the remainder standing behind each goal. The surface is ice, maintained by a refrigeration system, and the boards were replaced with a more flexible variety in 2020. An LED scoreboard was installed over center ice that same year, replacing what had been in place since the venue’s inception. The practice rink, built in 2009, is smaller than the IIHF standard and features an indoor tennis court on top.

The Rødovre Mighty Bulls play their home games here in the Metal Ligaen. The venue has hosted international exhibition matches, including a game against Canada on August 20, 2022, and a match against Finland on April 14, 2022. The highest recorded attendance for a single match was 3,600 during the 2014-15 season for a game against Frederikshavn White Hawks on February 13, 2015. The arena does not host official IIHF World Championship tournament games, though it hosted warm-up matches for the 2022 Women’s World Championship.
