The capacity for sports events sits at 2,000, a number that changes when the stage is lowered for a concert. The venue opened in 1959 as a single hall and cafeteria, then grew through the decades into a complex of 13,500 square metres.
The team plays here because the surface allows for quick transitions. While the exterior looks like a civic building, the interior is a working sports hall.
