Stadium
Sala Sporturilor
Constanța, Romania
Formerly: Sala Sporturilor
Sala Sporturilor opened its doors in 1960, a date confirmed by multiple local records, and has remained a fixture of the city's sporting life since.
The capacity is modest, holding 1,500 spectators for basketball. The hall changed its name in 2022, becoming Sala Sporturilor „Simona Amânar”. The change was formal, though the old name persists in everyday use.
Tenants have come and gone like visitors to a hotel. Before them, BC Farul Constanța played here for fourteen years, from 2000 to 2014. The venue has also hosted matches for CSM Constanța.
