Skyex Community Stadium

The Skyex Community Stadium in Hayes is located in Hayes. The main stand is a low, long block with a heavy roof that leans forward, sheltering rows of red seats from the wind that sweeps down Beaconsfield Road.

This is not a grand theatre. The ground opened in 2016 after a long period of homelessness for Hayes & Yeading United F.C., who had to ground-share with Woking and Maidenhead United while they waited for the construction to finish.

The stadium has a quiet history of displacement, having nearly closed its doors shortly after opening due to safety concerns before finally settling in for the 2017–18 season. Now, it hosts not only the local first team but also QPR FC Women and their Academy Development Squad, who began playing home fixtures here in the 2024/25 season. Southall F.C. have also announced a groundshare for the 2025/26 season. The only significant fame it has gained is as the exterior training ground for the fictional AFC Richmond in the Apple TV+ series *Ted Lasso*, filmed at nearby West London Film Studios.
