SOK Proton-Arena: Stadium in Saratov

The project began as FOK Gazovik, a facility supported by Gazprom Transgaz Saratov, but the work stalled, leaving the structure unfinished for ten years. It was not until 2020 that the Saratov Region took ownership and allocated roughly 356.7 million rubles to finish the job.

Opened in December 2023 after a complete overhaul, the venue was renamed SOK Proton-Arena. The first official match was held on January 6, 2024. The capacity is 2,062, split between 2,014 seats on the main stands and 48 in VIP boxes. The surface is a professional floor covering suitable for international volleyball and basketball, though the specific brand remains unidentified.

The complex serves as the home for the women's volleyball club Proton-Saratov and the Energetik club. It is also used for handball, basketball, and mini-football. The site is managed by the State Budgetary Institution "Sports Complex Kristall".

Located in the Kirovsky District, in the Solnechny microdistrict, the arena sits at ul. imeni S.F. Tarhova, 64. It is a multi-purpose facility that has replaced the older, stalled version of itself.
