Spencer Stadium sits on Station Approach in Banbury, Oxfordshire, but it is the evolution of the ground, not the location, that defines it. The pitch is natural grass. What remains is a structure that has shed its skin twice over. The main stand collapsed into history in 1990, leaving only a modern concrete block on the north-eastern touchline as the sole place to sit.

Before that demolition, the club had already moved away from the railway carriages that served as changing rooms, a shift that came with the installation of floodlights in 1966. Today, the seat count is modest, with the majority of the 3,116 capacity resting on terraces. The only seated area is the stand built in the summer of 2000, which stands in defiance of the open terraces that surround it.

The pitch sees less traffic than a professional arena, but the level of play has risen. The club claimed the Southern League Premier Division Central title in the 2021–22 season. The name changes from Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium back to Spencer Stadium are just administrative updates; the structure remains the same.
