Sporthalle Alte Au: Stadium in Stockerau

The Sporthalle Alte Au has not tried to be a showpiece. It opened in 1985 to give the local handball club a place to play and train. The building sits inside the Sportzentrum Alte Au complex, which also holds the outdoor Stani-Fraczyk-Arena and the Millenniumshalle from 1999.

Inside it is a three-fold gymnasium, a judo hall, a table tennis hall, and four bowling lanes. There is a restaurant and a sports pension on the premises, and a skate area tucked nearby.
