Ownership of the building shifted recently, with the municipality of Stäfa taking full control of the property at the start of 2024. This move was part of a broader conversation about the future of sport in the canton, particularly regarding the plans for a new facility to replace an older gymnasium in the town. For now, the existing hall serves its purpose. It is not a cathedral of sport, nor does it have a history stretching back centuries. It is a practical space, built to last, where the local clubs can train and play without having to drive to a larger city. The capacity is listed as 1300, a figure that feels right for a town of its size, offering enough room for families and friends to pack in without feeling overcrowded.
