The capacity is a matter of interpretation. The official Ligue Nationale de Handball (LNH) lists 1,099 seats, a number that likely reflects strict seating compliance for professional matches. Other sources suggest a higher capacity, perhaps counting standing areas or older configurations, but the hall feels intimate regardless of the number. The crowd roared them on during the 2012–2013 season when the team competed in the top-flight Starligue, though many big matches were moved to the larger Palais des Sports de Pau.

The building itself is unremarkable from the outside, a functional block on 17 Avenue Saint-John Perse. Inside, the atmosphere is contained. A brasserie named the Brasserie du Sporting d'Este sits within the complex, offering a place for supporters to gather before and after games. The club has expressed ambitions to acquire the facility, seeing it as vital for their long-term future. While other venues host major finals, this hall hosts the grind of the Proligue. It is a place where the wheels came off for some teams, but where the local boys worked hard to hold every card they had. The surface is standard parquet, neither grass nor synthetic turf, just wood and sweat. It is the only ground of its kind in town for indoor handball, and that is enough.
