Sports Hall Boro Čurlevski
Bitola, North Macedonia
Formerly: Sports Hall Mladost
The Sports Hall Boro Čurlevski sits in the heart of Bitola. When it opened in 1975, the citizens of Bitola and the local municipality put in the work to raise it. They called it the Sports Hall Mladost. In July 2018, the hall changed its name to honour Boro Čurlevski, a local handball player.
Inside, the hall has a parquet floor that is used for handball and basketball.
The venue is the home ground for RK Eurofarm Pelister and KK Pelister, the city’s handball and basketball teams. The hall has also hosted continental competitions, including games in the EHF Champions League. Visitors from Paris Saint-Germain and Dinamo București played here in 2025, when the local supporters packed the seats.
Before the large sports center in Skopje opened, this was the biggest arena in the country. It has hosted basketball finals and major concerts, with bands like Bijelo Dugme and Parni Valjak performing on the court. The Bitola Municipality manages the facility, directing visitors to the city’s main website rather than a specific page for the hall.
