Sports Hall Boro Curlevski
Bitola, North Macedonia
Formerly: Sports Hall Mladost
The stands at the Boro Čurlevski Sports Hall do not look like the others in Bitola because of the paint. This is the "Hell of Bitola," a nickname earned when the hall hosted the European Handball Federation Champions League matches last season.
Since the renovation in 2009, the parquet floor has been the standard for the local handball and basketball teams.
The hall sits on Partizanska Street in the centre of the town. It was built by the citizens of Bitola in 1975 and opened as Sports Hall "Mladost" before the change of name in 2018. The building was renovated again in 2017 with new flooring and a heating system. For concerts, the capacity grows to 6,500, though the court remains the focus for the handball club RK Eurofarm Pelister. The hall is the largest indoor arena in the region, a fact that dates back to the opening of a larger centre in Skopje.
