Stade de la Rabine

The Stade de la Rabine sits in the old port quarter of Vannes. The current structure dates from 2001, replacing a velodrome and football ground that the City of Vannes had opened in 1920. The original buildings were demolished a year before the new stadium opened, leaving the site with a clean slate for the city's main sports venue.

The **hybrid** surface, installed in 2017, accommodates both Vannes Olympique Club and the rugby side Rugby Club Vannes. The stadium has never carried a sponsor's name and remains simply the Stade de la Rabine.

The last major change came with the construction of the East Stand in 2022. Designed by the firm Origin and built by NGE Bâtiment, the project cost 4.20 million euros and pushed the capacity beyond 11,000. The all-time record of 11,865 was set during a Pro D2 match between RC Vannes and US Dax on April 12, 2024, when the new stand was full.

The ground has hosted the final of the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. It also saw international rugby tests in 2014 and 2016, though it was bypassed for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
