Stoneham Football Complex

The Stoneham Football Complex sits on Stoneham Lane in Eastleigh, Hampshire, United Kingdom (postal code SO16 2PA). The facility was constructed between 2019 and 2020 as part of the English FA's 'Parklife' Project, with the site previously being an undulating and overgrown area known as the Monks Brook playing fields. The principal contractor for the £9 million project was Smith Construction (Heckington) Ltd, often working in partnership as Limonta Smith JV, while White Horse Contractors constructed the natural turf pitches. The facility was built for Eastleigh Borough Council and is operated by Hampshire FA. It officially opened in late 2019, with AFC Stoneham moving their senior teams to the new ground in December 2019. During its planning and construction phase, the venue was referred to as the 'Eastleigh Football Hub'. The complex features a 3G FIFA Quality Standard artificial pitch for the main stadium area, as well as four new natural turf pitches. The total capacity of the complex is approximately 1,000 spectators, including a tiered spectator stand with a seated capacity of 200 (though some sources estimate the stand holds around 150). AFC Stoneham is the primary tenant, having moved from their previous grounds, including the Pirelli Ground. The venue hosts grassroots football, community events, and tournaments sanctioned by the Hampshire FA. Notable attendance figures include 505 for a Wessex Football League Premier Division semi-final against Andover New Street on April 22, 2025, 375 for an FA Challenge Cup match against Salisbury in September 2024, and 103 for an FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round match against Bashley in August 2022. The venue was not a host for UEFA Women's EURO 2025.
