Suzuki Aréna The facility stands at the end of Helischer József út in Esztergom. The building is a result of the extensive renovation of the Pézsa Tibor Városi Sportcsarnok, a hall that bears the name of the Olympic fencing champion. The handover of the redeveloped arena took place in February 2023, marking the transition from a local sports hall to a venue capable of hosting European competition qualifiers. The ground is an indoor arena designed for handball and volleyball, and the capacity was expanded to 1,000 seats to meet the requirements of the European Handball Federation. The playing surface is an indoor sports floor, typical for the disciplines hosted here by MOL Esztergom KC and Dág KSE. The light is artificial and constant, covering the entire roof structure to ensure every corner of the court is visible, but the focus remains on the game played on the polished surface below. The history of the site is compact. It was not built from scratch but adapted from the existing structure, keeping the memory of the fencer attached to the walls while adding the capacity needed for modern standard matches.

It is a working venue, not a monument. The capacity of 1,000 is enough for the qualifiers, but the structure itself does not try to impress. It simply provides the space for the sport to be played.
