USK Sungul

USK Sungul is not a stadium in the conventional sense, but an indoor sports complex tucked away in Snezhinsk, a Closed Administrative-Territorial Formation in Chelyabinsk Oblast. It opened in 2002, standing quietly at 40 Let Oktyabrya Street, Building 37. The hall does not host football; its primary tenant is the handball club Sungul, which moved here from Chelyabinsk in 2012 and later merged to become GK Dynamo-Sungul. This shift in identity did not change the building itself, only the names on the door.

Inside, the surface is not natural grass or artificial turf, but a flat expanse designed for indoor sports, hosting handball, futsal, and judo competitions.

The venue has witnessed moments of quiet drama. In the 2011/12 season, the home side secured a bronze medal in the Russian Super League, defeating Kaustik in a penalty shootout after a 27:27 draw. The club has since taken part in European competitions like the EHF Cup Winners' Cup and the EHF European League, though the building itself remains local.

Records show the club was originally founded in 1990, but the structure dates to 2002. Some sources cite the address as 37/2 or 17A, a minor discrepancy that matters little to those who walk through the turnstiles. The facility does not have a single official name change, nor does it serve as a home for any professional football team.
