Wilks Park

Wilks Park is a modest ground in Flackwell Heath. Its character was set after the war when Arthur Wilks donated the land that the Flackwell Heath F.C. moved to from the Recreation Ground. The club has played there ever since, though the exact year of the move is not recorded.

The site is defined by its brick stand, which runs along one side of the pitch. Built in 1984 to meet the requirements for the club's election to the Isthmian League, it provides seating for approximately 150 spectators. The total capacity is 2,000.

The playing surface is natural grass, maintained for the local team. Floodlights were added in the late 1970s or early 1980s, a development that coincided with the club's time in the Hellenic League Premier Division.

The record attendance of 1,500 was set during a charity match against Oxford United in 1965, a crowd that filled the ground before the covered stand was built. The venue has never had another name; it has been Wilks Park since the post-war move. The club uses Pitchero for its online presence.
