WW Martin Community Stadium

The old Sponsor’s Lounge was replaced by a glass-fronted bar in June 2020. A FIFA Quality Pro 3G surface arrived in 2021. It was not a cosmetic touch.

There is a new car park for 200 cars. The Colin Hill Stand runs along one side, seated and long. This was made clear in November 2023, when a sell-out crowd watched the club reach the second round proper of the FA Cup against Woking.

James Lawson took over as chairman and pushed for the changes. He also secured the naming rights from a local construction company founded in 1877. The stadium is no longer just Southwood; it is the WW Martin Community Stadium. The name sits on the gate, but the history is deeper. Football has been played on this site since 1886, long before the current club entity, formed as Ramsgate Athletic in 1945, took over the tenure.
