The CAF Super Cup, also known as the African Super Cup, is an annual one-off football match organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Founded in 1993, the competition serves as the curtain-raiser to the new continental season, typically held in August or September. It pities the winner of the CAF Champions League, Africa's premier club competition, against the winner of the CAF Confederation Cup, Africa's secondary club competition.
The format is a single match played at the home stadium of the previous season's CAF Champions League winner, though neutral venues have been used in recent years. Prior to 2005, the match featured the Champions League winner against the African Cup Winners' Cup champion. There is no promotion or relegation, as it is a standalone title decider. The current reigning champion is Pyramids FC, who won the 2025 edition by defeating RS Berkane 1–0. Al Ahly is the most successful club with 8 titles, followed by Zamalek with 5 titles.
Official sponsorship has included MTN, Orange, and TotalEnergies. The competition is the African equivalent of the UEFA Super Cup.
