Campionato (San Marino) 2026/27

The Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio is the premier football league in San Marino. Established in 1985 by the San Marino Football Federation, it operates as a closed, single-division competition without relegation. This structure replaced a previous two-tier system in 1996, creating a unique environment in European football where clubs do not own dedicated stadiums but instead share a pool of nine municipal venues.

The season runs on a double round-robin format, with all teams playing each other twice. Since the 2023–24 season, the league title is awarded to the team finishing first in the regular standings. This champion earns a spot in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round. A separate playoff tournament decides the second European qualifier for the UEFA Conference League, involving teams finishing from second to eleventh place.

S.P. Tre Fiori holds the record for the most successful club with nine titles. AC Virtus is the current champion for the 2024–25 season. The league currently features 16 clubs, including 15 traditional amateur teams representing the nine castelli and the San Marino Academy U22 side. While the Coppa Titano remains the parallel domestic cup competition, the league has had title sponsors since the 2022–23 season, with BKN301 currently holding the rights.

The competition distinguishes itself through its closed nature and the shared use of facilities across the nine municipalities. Unlike many other national leagues, there is no movement between divisions, ensuring stability for the participating clubs. The focus remains on domestic consistency rather than tiered progression. Imre Badalassi is noted as the all-time top scorer with 134 goals, marking a significant individual achievement within the league's history. Higher-scoring matches, such as Cosmos's 8–4 victory over San Giovanni, highlight the competitive variance within the standings.
