Cup (Albania) 2026/27

The Albanian Cup (Kupa e Shqipërisë) is the premier domestic knockout football competition in Albania, organized by the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF). Founded in 1938, the tournament began as the Kupa e Mbretit (King's Cup) and was suspended during the Second World War before resuming in 1948. It adopted its current name in 1991. The competition sits as the primary cup in the Albanian football pyramid, distinct from the league system. It is a standalone knockout tournament with no promotion or relegation links to the Kategoria Superiore or Kategoria e Parë.

The final winner qualifies for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The tournament typically involves 42 to 44 teams from all tiers of Albanian football. The format features a preliminary round for lower-division teams, followed by a Round of 64, Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarter-finals, and Semi-finals. The first three phases are played as single-legged fixtures, while the Round of 16, Quarter-finals, and Semi-finals are played over two legs. The Final is a single match held at a neutral venue. KF Tirana is the most successful club with 16 titles, followed by Partizani Tirana and Dinamo City, each with 15 titles.

The competition does not have a commercial title sponsor for the senior men's team, unlike the league which is sponsored by Abissnet. The Albanian Super Cup is a separate single-match competition contested between the league champion and the cup winner.
