The Jordanian Super Cup is a football competition organized by the Jordan Football Association. It serves as a curtain-raiser or minor trophy contested by the winners of the league and cup. The event sits below the Jordanian Pro League and the Jordan FA Cup in the domestic hierarchy.
From its inception in 1981 until 2022, the competition was typically a single-match contest between the Jordanian Pro League champion and the Jordan FA Cup winner. In 2023, the format changed to a two-legged tie between the league and cup winners. For the 2026/2027 season, the Jordan Football Association introduced a new format involving four clubs. This knockout tournament features semi-finals and a final. The matches are hosted at the Amman International Stadium. The four participants include the Pro League champion, the FA Cup winner, the Pro League runner-up, and the third-place finisher.
Al-Faisaly is the most successful club in the competition's history. As of the 2026/2027 season, Al-Faisaly has won the title 18 times. Their victories span from the first edition of the tournament through to the 2026/2027 season. Al-Wehdat is the second most successful team with 15 titles. Al-Hussein Irbid has won 3 times. Other winners include Al-Ramtha with 3 titles and Shabab Al-Ordon with 2 titles. The competition was not held in 1988, 1999, and 2020. The current holder is Al-Faisaly, who defeated Al-Hussein Irbid 2-1 in the final.
The competition is distinct from the Jordanian Pro League and FA Cup as it is a short-duration trophy. It is often decided by a single game or two legs, rather than a full-season league campaign or a multi-round cup knockout. It serves primarily to crown the "best of the best" from the previous season's major competitions.
