The **Super Coupe Roger Milla** serves as the annual curtain-raiser for Cameroonian football, organized by the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT). Founded in 1999, the tournament is contested between the champions of the Elite One league and the winners of the Coupe du Cameroun. The title honours the legendary striker Roger Milla.
The match is played as a single fixture at a neutral venue. This strict format means that if a team secures the domestic double, the competition is cancelled for that year. Coton Sport FC de Garoua achieved this feat in 2003 and 2004, resulting in the immediate suspension of the event. The tournament also experienced significant interruptions, remaining dormant between 2004 and 2018, and again in 2020 and 2021, before being re-established in 2019.
The most recent edition highlights the high stakes involved. Scheduled for February 2026, the contest was abandoned after Colombe Sportive du Sud walked off the pitch in protest against a penalty and a red card decision. FECAFOOT subsequently awarded the trophy to Panthère Sportive du Ndé by walkover and imposed severe sanctions on the protesting club.
Historically, the competition is characterized by its rotational winners. No club has managed to retain the trophy, with every winner holding a single title. Past champions include Sable FC, Kumbo Strikers, Fovu Club, Mount Cameroon, Stade Renard, Bamboutos FC, and Coton Sport FC. This exclusivity distinguishes the Super Cup from the broader Cameroon Cup, which is an open knockout tournament for clubs from lower divisions. For the 2025 season, the participating clubs are Panthère, Colombe, and Victoria United.
