Germany Women's Cup 2026/27

The DFB-Pokal der Frauen is the primary national knockout competition for women's club football in Germany, organized by the German Football Association (DFB). Established in 1980, the tournament sits at the top of the national cup pyramid, distinct from the league system.

The competition expanded to include teams from former East Germany following reunification in 1991. It features a knockout format without group stages. For the 2025/26 season, the structure includes a new Play-off Round involving 32 teams, followed by the First Round, Round of 16, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and Final. A total of 48 teams participate: all 12 Frauen-Bundesliga clubs and the top four 2. Frauen-Bundesliga teams enter the First Round directly.

Matches are single-leg. Early rounds allow home advantage for lower-tier teams, and the final is held at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne since 2010. Unlike the men's DFB-Pokal, the winner does not qualify for European competition; European spots are determined solely by Frauen-Bundesliga league position.

VfL Wolfsburg is the most successful club with 11 titles, including a record streak of 10 consecutive wins from 2013 to 2022. 1. FFC Frankfurt holds the second-most titles with 9. The current holder is Bayern Munich, who defeated Werder Bremen 4–2 in the final.
