Real Madrid: predicted XI for Betis clash confirmed

Real Madrid have named their line-up for the trip to Real Betis at Estadio de la Cartuja, with Jose Mourinho making three changes to the side that beat Malaga last weekend.

Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate and Arda Guler come into the side, replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold, Antonio Rudiger and Brahim Diaz. Guler scored Real Madrid's fourth goal against Malaga and keeps his place on the right of the attack ahead of Diaz. Marquee summer signing Yan Diomande stays among the substitutes.

Thibaut Courtois continues in goal, looking to build on his first clean sheet of the season. Marc Cucurella and Dumfries take the full-back positions either side of Konate and Dean Huijsen. Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde keep their places as the midfield pivot, with Bernardo Silva left out. Jude Bellingham operates in the advanced role, and Kylian Mbappe leads the line between Guler and Vinicius Junior.

Real Madrid go into the game on three wins from three in La Liga, alongside Barcelona the only side with a perfect record, and are seeking a fourth straight win to open the campaign. It comes against a side they have not beaten in Andalusia since 2021. Betis, managed by Manuel Pellegrini, will look to former Real Madrid midfielder Isco and to Antony, who is expected to operate down the home side's right flank against Cucurella.
