Ronaldinho did not travel to Moscow for Wagner Love's farewell match. He sent a video message instead, which was shown at the VEB Arena before the game between CSKA Legends and Friends of Wagner Love.

The former Brazil forward addressed his old team-mate by name and said he could not be there.

"My friend, Wagner Love. Sending you my regards. I want to congratulate you on a remarkable career. You brought joy not only to Brazilian fans but to people all over the world. Especially in Russia, where you made history. A kiss. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend your farewell match, but I hope you will organise another farewell game, where I can be present. A big hug and a kiss," said Ronaldinho.

Love had said earlier that he invited Ronaldinho. Kleberson, the former Manchester United player who took part in the match, gave the reason for the absence, as Sovetsky Sport reported. "He said he has a game in India, so he will not be able to come. It would have been great to see Ronaldinho here, because he is still a magician," said Kleberson.

If Love takes up the suggestion and stages a second farewell game, it would be the occasion Ronaldinho has said he wants to attend.
