Aleksandar Desančić

Aleksandar Desančić's career has taken him through the lower and middle tiers of Serbian football with a detour to Albania, before landing him in Montenegro and, most recently, back home again. Born in Novi Sad, he came up through Vojvodina, appearing for the club's U19 side before breaking into the senior squad in the Serbian SuperLiga in the 2014–15 season. A loan to Proleter Novi Sad followed, then a winter move to ČSK Pivara and a longer spell at Bežanija, all in the Serbian First League.

His path continued through Napredak Kruševac and Metalac Gornji Milanovac, where he made eight appearances in each of two SuperLiga seasons, before a switch abroad in 2021 took him to KF Bylis Ballsh in Albania's Kategoria Superiore, where he scored once in 11 appearances. He returned to Serbia the same year to join Inđija, staying with the club through the 2023–24 season.

In August 2024, Desančić moved to Sutjeska Nikšić in the Montenegrin First League, wearing the number 3 shirt during his time there. Across the 2024–25 and 2025–26 seasons he made 27 league appearances and featured in Sutjeska's UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying campaign, including a match against Beitar Jerusalem in July 2025. In February 2026 he moved back to Serbia to join Borac Čačak in the First League.

At youth international level, Desančić represented Serbia's U19 side between 2014 and 2015, with figures on his caps and goals varying between five appearances without a goal and four appearances with one goal. He has not been capped by Serbia's senior national team.
