Aleksandar Filipović

Aleksandar Filipović left Belarus, making 110 appearances in the Belarusian top flight and more than 150 across all competitions in four seasons at the club. He joined in February 2018 and departed with a full trophy cabinet: the Belarusian championship in 2018, the Belarusian Cup in both 2019/20 and 2020/21, and the Belarusian Super Cup in 2022.

The Serbian defender came through the youth ranks at Jagodina, making his first-team debut at 16 and going on to make close to 80 appearances for the club before a move to Voždovac in 2016. Two years there preceded his transfer to BATE.

From BATE, Filipović moved to Partizan in June 2022, where he spent three seasons as a regular starter, playing 88 matches and scoring eight goals. The trophies that had come readily in Belarus did not follow him to Belgrade: the club finished as league runners-up and lost in the cup during his time there.

Filipović signed for Rīgas FS as a free agent in August 2025, initially on a short-term deal that was extended in January 2026 through to the end of 2027. He has been a regular in Riga's Virslīga side this season, also appearing in the Latvian Cup and the Conference League, where he was sent off in a match against Jablonec. Earlier in his career, he was part of the Serbia squad that won the European Under-19 Championship in 2013.
