About the player

On his debut for AS Trenčín, on 13 June 2020, Ghali scored. He had arrived in Slovakia the previous November from MFM FC, where he made his senior debut in the Nigerian professional league in 2019, after coming through local sides Dabo FC and Mahanaim FC in Abuja. His time at Trenčín brought 55 appearances and six goals, interrupted by a loan to FK Dubnica in the Slovak second tier in the summer of 2021, where he played three times and scored once.

The move to the Czech league came on 27 January 2022, on a two-and-a-half-year contract at Slovan Liberec. He stayed three seasons and made 85 appearances, scoring five times. His first campaign there ended without a goal; he scored twice in 2023/24, twice in 2024/25 and once in six league appearances at the start of 2025/26 before leaving. He did not play in European competition during his time at Liberec.

Sigma Olomouc signed him on 2 September 2025 on a permanent three-year contract with an option for a further year. TransferFeed, OneFootball and the Czech outlet Ruik.cz put the fee at around €2 million including bonuses. In November 2025 he scored a brace for Olomouc in the UEFA Conference League group stage.

With Nigeria's under-20 team he took the silver medal at the 2019 African Games in Rabat, where the Flying Eagles lost the final 2–0 to Burkina Faso. He scored twice at that tournament, both in the group stage: the winner against South Africa and an equaliser against Burkina Faso. He missed the cut for the 2019 Under-20 World Cup, and as of late 2025 had not appeared for the senior national side.
