About the player
Amer Hiroš came through the Željezničar academy in Sarajevo and made his first-team debut there in 2014, before a loan spell at Gorazde turned into a permanent move; he scored three goals in the 2016/17 season once the switch was made.
In the summer of 2021 he moved to Croatia's Osijek on a free transfer.
At Osijek he spent part of the 2022/23 season on loan at Šibenik, scoring once in 16 games, before leaving the Croatian club by mutual agreement in January 2024. He returned to Željezničar, scoring four goals in 26 matches that season, then signed for Borac Banja Luka on a free transfer on 1 January 2025. He has since made 50 league appearances for Borac, scored six goals, and also featured in the club's European fixtures.
Hiroš represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level, appearing twice for the under-18s and six times for the under-19s, though he has not been capped by the senior team.
