About the player
Agustin Jara's professional career took him across three continents before he found a home at Universitario de Vinto. In 2016 the Argentine defender earned a trial with FC Dallas in Major League Soccer and signed with the club, but the move yielded only three appearances before he was released.
Jara's path afterwards ran through spells with Ramón Santamarina in Argentina, Atlético Bermejo in Bolivia and 9 de Octubre in Ecuador, moving between countries and divisions rather than settling anywhere for long. That changed in January 2025, when he signed for Universitario de Vinto.
He has not been called up to the Bolivian national team.
