About the player
Aleksandër Trumçi came through the youth ranks at Shkodra between 2014 and 2019 before moving into senior football with Veleçiku, then spending four seasons at Bylis. He joined North Macedonia's Shkëndija in June 2024 on a loan deal with an obligation to buy, a move made permanent the following year for a reported €50,000.
In his first season at the club, 2024/25, Trumçi made 30 league appearances and scored once as Shkëndija were crowned champions of North Macedonia. He also featured in the Macedonian Cup and got his first taste of European football with two appearances in the UEFA Conference League.
His European involvement grew substantially the following campaign. Trumçi played close to a dozen matches across Conference League qualifying and the group stage in 2025/26, adding 27 league appearances and further Cup outings. One night stood out: in a qualifying tie against Slovenia's Bravo, won 3-1, he set up a goal.
Trumçi has also been capped at under-21 level for Albania, making two appearances for the youth side without scoring.
