About the player
Halit Abdugheni is a Uyghur footballer from Xinjiang. He joined the club's B team in 2025, spending the season in China League Two before earning a move up to the first-team squad at the start of 2026.
As a midfielder, Abdugheni has not yet built up a body of first-team appearances to draw on, nor has he been called into the Chinese national setup. He was not part of the group that won the Chinese Super League title in 2022, arriving at the club well after that success. For now, his career remains defined by the step from the reserve side to the top flight rather than by trophies or individual recognition.
Wuhan Three Towns has assigned him the number 17 shirt for the new campaign, a marker of the club's intent to work him into first-team plans following his promotion from the B squad.
